Hello All
As the title suggests, I've been struggling with my fibre line for almost 2 months, on and off with afrihost support and still no resolution, I'll try for a bit longer as I got Afrigirl to assist me a bit further, but if all else fails, what ISPs would recommend, from what I've researched Cool Ideas, Axxess, and a few others are good contenders, would love to hear your input in this matter

Waves.

Afrinatic should be able to assist tho?

Is the problem local , or somewhere at their servers.
From what I've been experiencing, I have mixed feelings, I'm able to connect to the network on my side, but can't do more than that, websites don't load, messages take forever to send, and it briefly works for a few minutes to a few hours everyday

The only thing that works on the network is the range extender hooked up to the router, but that's about it

Oh damn, if you're with atomic access, are they good, I'm willing to do anything if it means I have a stable line again

service wise they are excellent, you'll find old threads on here of me ranting about my horrors with WebAfrica and Afrihost over the years, when I finally took the plunge Atomic Access:

- actually answered my sales query on a public holiday

- somehow got the fibre installation (new install, didn't have fibre yet at the time) guys to sort me out within 2 working days afterwards

- when I didn't use the new line for the first few days they phoned me to check that it is working

- whenever things do go wrong, they are always available and ready to assist on their telegram group

they're highly specialized and know their stuff, their one co-founder & CTO was actually a co-founder of Octotel and you'll see him personally engage a lot directly with customers on their telegram group

their packages are however more expensive than comparable packages at other ISPs

fwiw this is my 75/75 Octotel connection speed test as we speak:

I'll take a look at them, currently paying for a fibre line that doesn't even work, if the prices are still in my ballpark I'll consider them, thanks alot

Hey, thanks for the reply, I'll keep the thread open for any future issues, but for now it seems the line is stable again, from my further troubleshooting I reckon our range extender messed up a wireless signal that conflicted with the whole network. Thanks again everyone.

Yeah, I figured that much, thanks guys for the recommendations though, if the paw paw strikes the fan again I'll definitely consider changing
