Hey I'm looking for a new keyboard but don't know what to buy...

The one I have is getting a connection problem at the usb port, back of the computer... And it was a no-name keyboard like only R80.00 Well at least it lasted a year. But I think its time for a new one.

my choices are

Logitech
Microsoft
Razor

thanks for the help!

Well you mentioned Razor so I am assume you are looking for a gaming KB.

Razor and Logitech both make great boards.

What is your budget?

yes. I am interested in Gaming keyboard. well I guess price doesn't matter since I want to spoil myself with something new. hehe

I'm in the market as well, I'm currently going for either G11 or G15 logitech's or maybe consider the sidewinder x6 from microsoft.

I have the Microsoft X6 and love it. :)

I mean no disrespect for everybody else's taste, but the G11 and the G15 are DAMN fugly!

I'm currently using the MX5500 keyboard and mouse Combo, works very well, but to be honest, when it comes to the keyboard, my trusted Microsoft Ergo 4000 beats it by far comford wise! Logitech tends to feel VERY plastic, and somewhat cheaply manufactured! - but... each to their own!

Hey LabAnimal the Microsoft Ergo 4000 has a very nice desgin. I like the layout.
You are right it seems it can handle the work more than a G15 board.

:D Never worked with a dinovo set then? :)

I love Logitech's scissor-keys. They're quiet and smooth and make for some super fast typing, especially with my aging hands now seeing problems. Unfortunately Logitech seem to be going back to super-size-me keys. After being on the dinovo and even the UltraX there is no way I can see myself going back to old key styles.

I think before the dinovo finally vanishes from the market I will need to stock up on several sets so I can have this thing for the rest of my life. :) Unfortunately, they're bloomin' expensive and I'm done with the MX900 mouse they offer. :)

After the awesome news that G11 were available for R450 I got myself one.. Went Godlike in first DotA game on it.. Yes, I'm a student...

Cheap Logitech any board. When you pound the **** out of you dont feel as bad.

BTW, stay away from these top end Logi boards (G11/15/19) if they are silver. The silver comes of and it looks horrible. Bah, what am I saying they ****ing ugly anyway, the whole lot.

I have a G15 (older model, the one with the blue backlighting) and the G19. I don't mind their looks.

Guess it's a matter of personal preference :p

In fact the G19 is the best keyboard I've used thus far. I'd rather buy a well-performing keyboard that might not be a stunner (depends on what you like) than a pretty, but average keyboard.

I really like this one, but can't afford it - US$ 1692.31 !

I know they're rather plain, but I like my MS keyboards...
