Hi

Does anyone have any experience with Telkom lines being installed in a complex that has no lines currently?

How long does it take and do they have to dig or can they use drains and shiz like the Fibre peeps?

Moving into a new complex (like brand new) and we won't have any lines available. No fibre planned anytime soon so I want to see if I can get ADSL in ASAP.

Ask the developer of the complex if they laid pipes for telecommunications while doing the civil work.

If yes, chop chop.

If not... hope you have a wireless solution to tide you over.

Dammit :p

I'll ask them, thanks!

If there is not infrastructure in the complex you will have to sort that out yourself.

Telkom won't dig in the complex for you.

So apparently I have to use BronbergWISP (who's expensive) as they are the only ones that were provisioned for. :(

bah...
