You just have to pretend you are retarded. Then everything works. They have to cater to the majority of people who buy their products.I've been using a Macbook for the past 3 days. I must say I hate it.
Three reasons so far why I hate it:
1. Mouse scroll wheel is inertia based. When I scroll the wheel slowly the page scrolls incredibly slowly. This is not the case on windows.
2. Shortcuts for cut, copy and paste. The command key is literally next to the C and X key. Making it very difficult to execute with one hand.
3. Uninstalling a program is a nightmare. You have to search for all related files yourself.
I'm sure to find more. Here's another Notepad++ which is one of my favourite programs is not available on Mac. And I cant find a suitable alternative.
How many of you are running Windows on your Macs?
1) Scroll wheel issues can be fixed with some additional 3rd party software. I have a scroll reverser for example that makes the scroll go in the correct direction for the mouse
2) Don't know what layout you are using, but the command key is right next to the space bar on my machine. Pretty easy to get used to
3) What program? Normally you just delete the program by deleting it out of the Applications folder.
For the Notepad++ thing, that isn't the fault of the machine. It is the application developers. If there really isn't an alternative for you, then you could try running it via Wine:
