new mac user here ‍

And just wait till something breaks, and the Apple seller will tell you they cant fix it, and that you should rather just buy a whole new Mac instead. Happened to my friend who got told that when her Mac heatsink clip got broken somehow in a move, and she was urged to buy a brand new Mac Pro Desktop to replace her barely 3 year old Mac Pro desktop. Lucky she found the part while on a trip to the US and saved herself a fortune.

And also my friend who had a superdrive long ago in his Mac mini. 10k to replace the superdrive, so he was told buy a new mac mini then. Got him a R400 external samsung usb disc drive, solved the problem.

Apple launched a GUI OS a full year before Microsoft did.

Blame Microsoft for not following the standard - either try to adapt, or don't, but for the love of god stop moaning it doesn't work like you want it to work. If you want it to work like Windows, buy a Windows laptop.

To be fair Apple reversed the directionality of their scroll to make it more iOS like, aka "natural", back when Lion was released in 2011.

Although expected, it didn’t warrant the absolute blasting he got . This part of the forum is definitely the most unfriendly.

It needs some sort of a warning about some of the people you’ll meet on here

I know that you’re exceptionally hard on people with an opinon or a view different to your own.

But, he’s new and he may not understand how you operate.
He probably doesn't understand thsi section of thread and how it works.
He's probably not aware of how you mould your iUse case to match whatever Apple puts out.
He's probably also not aware of that you come to the forum to tell people what to think & how wrong they are
Or that you run the gang with an iron fist and you have a number of followers that aer quick to back you up on command

I just felt sorry for the guy as it takes time on the forum to understand that

He knew exactly how it all works and went out of his way to antagonise.

Much like you he also pretends to be dumb just to garner a reaction.

Makes all sorts of sense you would jump to his defence.
