New MacBook Air M2 Chip Pricing guide

Ok back again…any suggestions for covers for this machine MBP 14” M1 Pro 2021. I looking for something soft, rubbery, silicon and not hard case. Not leather. Something that fits like a glove (read: condom)? I don’t Want to add to its dimensions.
Searching some online stores but most are hard cases.

Hard shell all the way. The logo doesn’t light up anymore so you won’t announce you status at the coffee shop that way.

I skin all my devices but normally buy from a site that's not available in SA. I was going to buy from Dbrand this time around, but was wondering how long it normally takes. LOL SA delivery times are atrocious my niece got a package last week 2 years after the sending date (snail mail). Airmail is faster I know but it's still SA I once sent a gift via airmail and it took 6 months soooo yes any insights on how long Dbrand might take?

Never had an issue shipping from overseas using Amazon.

This might help you decide:

Sure, but I don't think that's SAs fault? Unless they used Post Office
They did. Sent Royal Mail from UK and picked up at my local post office after going in once every week and enquiring if it was there yet.

I just wanted to say that not all things are sent DHL and I was caught out. I’ve ordered a fair few things from Amazon over the years, US, UK and Japan and only had that one issue. And it was down to a third party seller.

Doesn't look like you want a skin, but found a SA company if you want to try them out. Personally skins protect my laptop better than a case does, but might also be a case by case situation so if cases work best for you cool if you want to try a skin the above company is available (not sure of the quality though).

I think this one would serve best, but the risk with attaching is high--it is a sticky tape, and my aging trembling hands wont manage to get that alignment right, let alone get rid of the bubbles. The price tag is also very similar to the one posted above dbrand international store. I may just have to swallow my want and go with need, hard case thin and light from a local store (HardShell brand)--it is on special right now for R399 (usual price R899). Unless anyone can point me elsewhere.

Not sure if it's my "young" hands, but I got the alignment perfect first go around (different brand, but same thing). It's definitely easier than applying a protective screen cover for your phone and I have no air bubbles but if you do get them they easy to fix with a hair dryer (low setting wont hurt the mac).

I'm sure cases work for many and maybe the ones available here are different, but the cases I bought from Amazon/Apple always tended to break and make the device bulky not to mention the dust/dirt it collects. Since I started using skins my devices are scratch free and feel good to use.
