A friend of mine that runs a VC store said that X1 prices are set to come down by R2k in Feb or at the end of Feb - I forget exactly when.
I don't know if that R2k drop is just for the store, contract clients or pre-paid clients though.
 
Surely there should be some information comming through about now... :-(
 
the MTN guys who handle our corporate account says, he might get the new Feb list of specials on Friday.
I asked him to send me asap when he gets it, coz I'm also hanging on, to see what'll be available, need to upgrade / renew 2 accounts.
If I get it, I can mail u if u want to have a looksee.
 
they just tried a trick - sending an E51 *without* a camera - who knew they even made an e51 without a camera - made us drive from knysna to george to take it back - and then had to fight with them for an hour!!!! grrrr
 
I suspect the HTC Touch HD will be on the new specials list and I suspect it will come with at least a 4-6k pay-in albeit over 24 months re the instalment plan.. Blackberry Storm too...

I was stunned to see Autopage (of all people) offering it already...

Still no luck on the new packages... yet...??? lol I cant wait anymore!!! I want a new phone now...lol but just have to be calm about it all.....lol

I'm thinking more on the lines of R6.5k-8K. Already have my cash saved, just waiting for MTN to bring the phone out ;)
 
luckily we already know that Nashua prices are crazeee, so if MTN has the phone, it'll be much cheaper.
 
mmm ja but now we have to wait... it seems everones lips are sealed at the moment...lol why I dont know... I hope we find sum surprises in the new specials... but like always we will all come back to earth when we actually see them ....lol

Apparently new specials will be available for viewing online as of tomorrow... Source would be the manager of mtn norwood...
