For the forum, mobile skin doesn't kick in on Huawei P8 lite, whereas it works on Samsung galaxy phones and tablets.

The Note 10 might be the problem.
Thanks bio, doesn't work on Note 5 either but I'll check on my work PC tomorrow.

On PC it opens up to selecting an url. There's no option to upload.
If you scroll to the end of the thread in which you are trying to post, you should see a block labeled "Posting Permissions", please copy the permissions text there and put it into a reply post in this thread [of particular relevance are the attachments and IMG code permissions], optionally with a link to the thread in which you are trying to post one or more images.

Not that it really matters. I can post an image as long as it's from an url and did so earlier here. It's the upload which seems to be missing so either way something in the interface is broken.
Well there's the problem - uploading an image [or retrieving an image from a url and creating a copy stored on MBB] is done as an attachment, and for whatever reason the permissions in the Announcements forum are set to not allow attachments.
Is the problem limited to threads in the Announcements forum or are there other threads [and associated forum permissions] that don't allow you to post attachments?
Mods don't have the mojo to change permissions but we can petition rpm to change permissions...
Ok just checked a random thread in off-topic and I can upload both from url and computer. Still doesn't explain though why I can upload from an url but not from the computer in this thread when I'm not supposed to.
