new patches got me confused

ok so obviously there are a lot of changes with the new patches... maybe you can help? :confused:

my GS (and GS lite) doesnt wanna work properly. I can see other people's GS's but for the life of me I cant see mine ANYWHERE.... Its not really NB but its kidna annoying.... Any ideas?

next thing is the UI... The skill bar used to stretch all the way across the bottom but now it has been trimmed and kinda hovers in the middle and is too small!! :( Can I make it bigger?

and lastly the chat window is MINUTE!!! :wtf: I changed the text size but that only works once you type something and press ENTER... otherwise its still small all the time!

Sorry if this seems stupid, but they are small things which never used to be an issue and now they kinda bugging me.... :(
 
Latest patch screwed with the Userinterface size. To correct it, go to Video options > advanced tab > click the UI resize button and rescale it to the size you had it or want it. Should fix the action bars, chat window, small minimap etc etc.

GS is broken and I hope it stays that way. Update it to the latest version may help, but rather learn to live without it.
 
they have implmented inspect throttling as they discovered that the addon was causing latency against their servers. They have added an item level avg value you can see on your character sheet, near to the top right hand corner.
 
blizzard has built in their own version of GS anyway. or something. regarding the chat window, rightclick on the general tab, unlock it, and resize to your hearts content.

regarding the UI, get an addon called bartender 4, fiddle with that, and have loads more screen real estate to play with :D

I have good eyes, and even Im finding I have to squint to read the flippin screen!! :(
 
bartender (and Im guessing loads of other UI replacements) have this lovely option where when you get into combat that whichever of your UI bars you choose, disappear! like magic :D and come back when you get out of combat. obviously you put non-combat spells or whatever (food, cos you cant eat in combat, fishing, enchating etc) on those bars. and you can put them anywhere you want on the screen too. and resize them. and other stuff I think. but I havent needed it really. or maybe I have, and cant remember. blergh@mondays
