New PC build, advice & recommendations welcome!

Or this one: http://www.wootware.co.za/review/product/list/id/16979/category/108/ Don't really know this Galax brand, but reviews on wootware sounds good.

I've got the galax 960.

You might not know the name galax but I suspect you know the galaxy & kfa2 brands? Galaxy & KFA2 merged and were gonna operate under the Galaxy brand name but they hit a trademark dispute in the EU where they cannot use the Galaxy name so they switched to Galax (think samsung had a finger in this). So nothing to worry about the brand, very reputable. Once you get the card register it online for an aditional years waranty which I still need to do.

Their cards have been receiving very good reviews and they run really cool.

So maybe the Galax 970 over the Gigabyte 970? R500 difference, and will be free delivery if I get it from Takealot with the rest of my stuff. Probably not worth the R500???

Up to you, I doubt delivery will be more than R70. Think mt gpu & cpu were R96.

What do you think about the powersupply? Enough?

The gtx970 has about a 170W TDP, the cpu about 84W I think so yes you have enough power there.
Not the best of brands but it will do.

Your build looks fine. Can't comment on the ssd as I'm not familiar with them yet, will do research on them when I order mine later.

So, updated the list with some new hardware, this is what I got so far:

MoBo - R 606 - Takealot
CPU - R 2 200 - Intel Core i7 4790 - Carbonite

Updated MoBo

Reason: More USB 3.0 and just better overall

I went with the OCZ ssd from Takealot, slightly smaller and slightly cheaper. http://www.takealot.com/ocz-arc-100-2-5-ssd-240gb/PLID33054507

BUT whichever one you go for it is a MUST in any system, I am building a new work PC with an SSD because I can't work without it any more.
