Back to the original plan then...

These mobo's with the built-in graphics- they don't seem to have tv-out??

I see. That is going to be an issue then. I reckon I would be better going for a cheaper mobo with some kind of Graphics card that has TV-out and is not too bad.

You have any suggestions for cheaper mobos?

Like I said I'm not clued up at all when it comes to Intel related stuff and it seems nobody else is replying on this huge thread..hopefully someone will advise you with something..

It seems so...

Are you an AMD guy then? Do they have similar mobo's with onboard graphics?

And do they still run so hot and loud? I have been reading and many people say they are now cooler than Intel chips and the mobo's have more features...

Hey man even if you game I wouldn't suggest using the onboard graphics. You can get a decent one like this for R1000 or so. so it's not so bad.

And that crap about louder and cooler is bullsh!t, it might've been true on the older generation CPUs but with my s939 theres no heat or noise, only noise coming from my PC is the power supply which I don't really care about. Best thing you can do is use google, research what parts would be best for what you're gonna use the PC for, narrow down your choices and then post it here. Start reading here...
