New PC - Opinions

I have to agree. I would only ever consider this if i was saving a good couple grand, or had some one to bring the stuff over.
Otherwise if it is in SA for a reasonable price, you are just making missions for yourself. But really dude. R7k is low for the CUD you claim to have.

I know this is my first comment in this thread, but I was waiting to see the overall price you end up having to pay with all these imports and duties.

Rather have a look on carbonite for some good deals, that way you usually have the remainder of the warranty and you pay good prices!

My cousin owns a shipping business and shipped it for free. :)

Thinking of buying an Odin 585w PSU second hand or Antec True Power Trio 650w PSU both @ R350 from carbonite.co.za, are they any good or just like the UniQue ones?

This is why your comments sound weird. Upgraded in due time generally doesn't mean "I already ordered a new one" :p

I was going to have a type of "grand opening thread" for the arrival of my new card. And due time in this case was about 3 days ;)

...GTX 570 was ordered 7 days ago, got it 2 days ago.

And you've busted it already??? And now, 'cos you imported it, getting it replaced is going to be a b*tch!

Presume that my guess is right? 'Cos otherwise I'm interested to understand why you're posting "wanted" ads on the Carbonite forum today asking for a GPU...?

What's that I smell in the air....???

*Sigh*, I'm looking for one for my brother, who's building a new rig. My GTX 570 hasn't been broken. Oh and my GTS 450 was given to my cousin's son as a thank you for his part of the shipping deal.
