Well crime is so high at the moment, things could be getting better and we just don't notice it, or people are sick and tired of reporting crime because nothing gets done about it and the figures appear less and most of the SAPS were out on the streets fighting Xenophobia lately and couldn't take complaints.

No BS. I've seen a significant reduction in Nigerian scam emails lately. The minister is truthful in what he says, crime is dropping.

yes it is a waste of time because when they broke into my house the police were so illiterate spelling the address to them didn't help as they couldn't comprehend letters. So ja, no use in trying if it is next to impossible.

Yeah I almost lost it when I was asked to spell "spring". Last time they had to come (for insurance) the armed response had to call them 5 times before they pitched and then they decide to hit on my friend, very professional.

When I went a couple of weeks ago they did have a huge new TV up, priorities I suppose.
