yes, but lets take another example here.
The Bugatti veyron - Supercar or Epic Fail?
You need glasses if you can't see a difference my friend.

The Bugatti veyron IS AN EPIC FAIL for most people. It's probably
designed for the super rich and for 99.9% of the world's population
its not a possibility when probably for the price they can buy
a cheap but new car/motorbike, a house and feed their family for a year.
I dunno, I think if I was on a tight budget I'd choose to feed
my children then buy a super car/bike.
However if the Bugatti veyron could only drive on certain Bugatti
approved roads (and only in SA, forget about taking it to North
America for a holiday, it's engine will cut out and there is no
hack yet), it takes 90 sec to start vs a normal bike which takes
10sec and it forces you to watch a Bugatti ad every time you
start (which you can't skip) and costs so much more - then
even rich people will consider it a fail.
Compare to a Toyota which will start immediately, play no
ads, can be used on any road anywhere and only costs
10% max of the price of the Bugatti and on top of that
achieves a lower but still such a top speed which will
impress most non-Bugatti-connoiseurs (ie the girl
on the back who is clueless and thinks HD = SD).
Also unlike the Bugatti Veyron the price of the BD is artificially
high right now. The same player with better features will
cost 20% of the price in 2years time. You won't find
a better Toyota ever - and a Toyota with the same
top speed etc.
However enjoy your equipment. Just because its overpriced
for most people, doesn't mean someone who spent the money
should feel bad. Enjoy it but for me the extra R28.000K
is not worth it when looking at Johnny Depp from 2m away,
although at 3m both images look the same
