The product was 'leaked', there has been no official announcement, nobody is gonna answer your demands, move on you're being an ass.
I am a paying customer. I own a softcapped TI product, and besides for seeing the allegedly "unofficial" announcement which pertains directly to this product (providing me with good grounds to be inquisitive about it), I also see the very same OFFICIAL tooltip message inside my account's usage on the TI tracker as per the OP's post (yes, the first post of this very thread, so how exactly am I off topic, Noah?). The TI Tracker message alleges that this value-added service already exists for my product, and that I should call the helpdesk for advice should I wish to have it activated. As such, I have every right and reason to feel entitled to the service. If the tooltip was a mistake, it should rightly have been withdrawn ages ago, as it is bound to mislead or confuse more customers at this rate. Alternatively, Telkom should be clear about the misunderstanding and propose a definitive new launch date so as to avoid unnecessary speculation. If I had the time to act on principle, I think I would have a legitimate case in my favour as per the Consumer Protection Act as legislated, in that I am not receiving the full worth of what I am paying for for the month of September as per the product's description as stipulated. But right now I couldn't be bothered anymore, because the impression around here is that we should just accept slapgat service uncontested, and move along with our day, right?
Edit: Glad to see that the tooltip "teaser" has since been removed from the TI tracker page until further notice. Logically, this proves that I was not being so unreasonable or "demanding" after all - rather the fundamental error was Telkom's in that they chose to promote an unreleased service as being part of an existing product offering which I happen to utilize; and that furthermore in this context, they also failed to set the record straight or provide us with further sufficient information to propose a more clearly defined release date for said product.
What's new, Telkom? With you guys, everything has always been an uninspiring, no-guarantees "best effort", "take it or leave it" attitude anyway. No wonder everyone has to bribe a techie or plead with the holier-than-thou social media reps in order to get any level of acceptable customer service these days. Quite pathetic? What a waste of precious time, money, and energy that most people frankly can't even afford to, and certainly shouldn't need to waste! Bring on the competition already
