You might not have noticed it, even on Windows 10, there is a difference in CPU usage between the old and new rig, with basic windows tasks. I have a i5 14400 with 32gig ram for the main rig, so I can tell there is a difference. 4 cores 8 thread versus 10 cores, 16 threads and a much larger cache.
While you might not notice it. I do, there is quite a bit of lag and delay. I also had to give up quite a bit of software compatibility, moving to Windows 10 and now Windows 11.
Just going to wait for PSU and GPU to arrive, then try 11 and see if it floats my boat, what is the worst than can happen.Steam will still support win10 for sometime, steam supported windows till jan 2024. So there is no rush to jump the win 10 doom and gloom ship yet, other than the annoying win 11 upgrade pop ups....
