The Zune HD, Microsoft's rival to Apple's iPod, will hit stores in September and cost $220 (R1 772) for the 16-gigabyte model and $290 for the 32GB version, the company announced on Thursday.

I love the ability to stream 720p content from the dock to a tv/pc. It could potentially be a media centre pc in an mp3 player.

Yea, i technically do it already with my current Zune 120GB , but it's not that kind of quality. You get the full monty, dock + remote, works like a charm.

I must say i really enjoy my Zune. However i'll wait for a 60GB+ HD model though, 32GB is too small for me .

Not yet convinced with a touchscreen on a predominantly MP3 player , the current zune have a touchpad [same thing you get on notebooks] which works great without smudging the screen .
