New TV, please advice

+-2 - 3 meters, will most probably be much closer when using the kinect on the Xbox, even when playing normal games i tend to sit infront of the TV.
I cant get the Samsung series 5 Plasma, full HD 3d 51" PS51E550 for a good price, so its seems like i'm leaning towards the UA46ES6200, its a 400HZ 46" 3D LED, which i can get for 6999

That's a pity, because the PS51E550 whips the UAES6200. Be advised to test it (it's 200Hz/400 CMR) to see if you are happy with the motion, often it looks fake.

One forumite owns a PS51B550 and UA46ES6200 who confirms the above too. That's a 4 year old plasma beating a current LED-LCD FYI.

Also consider the overall rating of the PS51E550 - http://www.televisioninfo.com/ratings.php.

If i could get the PS51B550 for a good price, i would have went for it, read a few very good reviews today!!
The UAES6200 is 400 CMR, but i was under the impression 400CMR is 400HZ.

PS51E550 is the 3 - 4 year newer model/replacement.

Don't worry, so do most people. It's the way the marketing is designed, as well as poor standards by those doing store brochures.
 
Okay, its between the samsung UA46ES6200R or the Lg 47la6210, i can get both for a really good price...but i cannot make up my mind, is there a major diffrence between the 200hz samsung and the 100hz true motion LG?, the LG is a new release and has much more features that the samsung, but the core of the samsung seems better than that of the LG, im confused, can anyone please shed some light on this.

Nah, nothing noticable, especially if you run at mildest setting (smooth serious blur/judder without impacting PQ).

Note Samsung is 2012 model while LG is 2013, so better to go with newest.

Yeah i saw the LG is a newer model, also packed with a lot more feautures, and the set self look awesome, the only part that sets me off is the 100hz, the LG i can get for R8300 and the samsung for R7000
I was as Dion Wired today as well, they had both led's (each +- 2k more), so i just wanted to check wat the image looks like, the problem is they only play this sh#t Sd quality programs on them, how am i supposed to judge...i asked the lady if she can please hookup some HD content or a bluray and she said its agains store policy....
So that did not really help me at all. All i can say is the LG self looks much better, but the image quality i think the Samsung might edge it, although the samsung is advertised as 100hz and not 200hz.
