New Uber Internetz line for SA? Wut?

well isnt it close to that time of year when price adjustments come into play from telkom?
3gig is pathetic to say the least, i was on uncapped 24mbit overseas and it cost me hardly anything. Iv heard that some areas have been trialing 8mbit but nothing from reliable sources. I say give us 30gig caps and 300gigs local :)

and the ANC (hopefully) loosing the elections we will see prices drop

they wont lose and if they do they will take the iec to court and it will drag so long that eventually it will be decided that democracy is illegal and the anc will b running a monarchy where sabir shaik is the minister of finance and julius malema the president. in the end . . . what good is lower broadband prices if there wont be any electricity supply anymore?

That would be hilarious - if it weren't true.

Wishing or praying for cheaper internet, is all the same, you not going to get it.

So............. We should bomb Telkom HQ?

Then again, they'd just raise prices due to insanely high building costs.

I read a while back about this, cant remember who the company is, but they are landing the line in Maputu, Mozambique, and from there to Kozi Bay.

Neotel got the contract to distribute in S.A.

According to article should drop prices of broadband.

Found the article... http://allafrica.com/stories/200811050255.html

It's just a pity that Neotel hardly has coverage to bring us all that bandwidth.
