New WhatsApp features for Android and iOS

WhatsApp has released new beta updates for the iOS and Android versions of its messaging application, WABetaInfo reports.

According to the report, the latest WhatsApp beta update released for iOS through the TestFlight beta programme includes advanced wallpaper configuration tools.

Blah blah blah still no proper delete or edit messages. It's like they've made a conscious decision not to implement these basic features for some reason. Annoying af. It's like they worried they'll be accused of copying Telegram or something. I dunno.

The day that WhatsApp merges with Instagram and FB Messenger and becomes a cross-platform cloud messaging service, it will instantly go from being crap to awesome. Zuck has been clear that this is in development. Until then, these WhatsApp updates are falling further and further behind Telegram.
