Ok first part of my upgrade is done. The tormented ISO worked perfectly. I have about 2GB of free space left. Going to do a clean install and reclaim the recovery partition. So far my impressions of 10 are very good. Edge is a real treat.

I used an 8GB flash drive.

There is a windows program called Rufus which prepares a flash drive for booting.
I just pointed it to the iso and it did the rest.

I then ran the setup.exe on the flash drive as if it were a mounted disk. You have to do the upgrade within windows to qualify.

Thanks. I think if it runs from within windows that you don't actually need a bootable USB. You should be able to run it as a clone drive unless it needs to read the ISO after rebooting.

It does need to read after reboot.

You can make up a charger if you can solder. Just get a regular 5V 2A cellphone charger, snip off the connector, and connect a barrel plug of the right size (you can find those at electronic component stores such as Mantech, Rabtron, Communica, RS Components).
I don't know the size of the barrel plug, but if you take your Nextbook to the electronic component store they should be able to check the size for you.
Make sure you get the polarity correct so you don't fry something.

I've done this, works well for me. Sorry I can't give you the size of the barrel plug, it's at home.

So, I did a clean install, used the drivers suggested and I've noticed that auto-rotate has disappeared - there isn't a lock/unlock button on the action center tab anymore.

So after doing a clean install and installing the drivers found here, my camera's and auto-rotate didn't work. I found this page, ran the first two installers mentioned and now everything's working and Windows 10 is nice and zippy.

This just saved me a "reset". My Wifi all of a sudden did not wanted to work. I tried to reinstall drivers without luck. After I installed the Wifi.rar driver mentioned in the second link, it worked again.

I can't seem to update to the November update. It just fails during the "preparing to install stage". Anyone else had a similar problem and found a solution?
