This is within 20 minutes of your post, so where are you getting these prices from @Jamie McKane? I expect shoddy journalism from you, but not actually getting pricing wrong considering that you are so used to throwing guzzle.com specials at us.

Intel Core i9-9900K from amazon including shipping and duties is roughly R8500 already ^.^

I don't have that much spare cash lol, you go and test it.
I did leave feedback that if they are doing SA they must advertise the price Inc. of VAT. Quite annoying how they aren't.

They wont charge you VAT over there - that's why you pay VAT when it hits customs on this side ( unless you meant something else ) Nevermind - I see they do show vat - but i then think they mean what the VAT will be when it hits our shore, coz i cannot see them double charging you VAT
 
just ordered NVMe SSD and 2666 MHz SO-DIMM from Newegg, but to a US delivery address (incl an extra $9.50 for delivery within 48h) - the current Newegg pricing was lower than Amazon, Bestbuy, TigerDirect and Walmart.com but is just marginally below that of Takealot & Loot.

If international shipping to ZA were to be added, as well as VAT and duties, Takealot / Loot (with free local shipping on these amounts) would be cheaper.
 
Just checked Newegg and seems like they not shipping into Africa anymore. Can any blind confirm?

They removed us as a region in their terms. To add, I also have a geolocating links service tied to their program and that stopped registering SA months ago.
