i would just try a couple of yagi antennas on two 2.4 WIFI access points and see if you get comms move them around with long cables . not to long . 1.5 KM is nothing for a decent yagi antenna

Don't have any access points lying around but got a a few Adsl modems with wifi. Would those work with the yagi antenna. How long can I run the wire.

OK so i received 2 Nanobridges this morning. Found 2 Old CB Radio Masts that we had at the shop (6mtrs). Basically a 6mtr iron pole. I managed to mount 1 so far on my brothers roof. But the mast sways abit. will that be a problem. Or how do i stabilise it. Sorry for all the question, this is my first installation. How much lenght do i need to run against the wall.

Swaying can cause issues. It'll work without stabilising the pole though as an interim solution. We normally take plastic coated cable, and using raw-bolt eye hooks, fasten the top of the pole to the wall with the cable.

Thanks man. Will try it tomorrow. By the way. What's the lighting risk. I got it attached to the wall if my house. But the pole is almost 6 meters higher then the house

Best bet - in lighting prone areas especially - is to ground/earth the pole.

Sorry more questions on that. Should I run the pole from the ground up (with maybe 10cm in the ground) or can I run a grounding cable from the pole on the roof to the ground?
So I don't need to run a separate lightning rod ?

Pecn? What's that?

Private Electronic Communications Network. Defined as "an electronic communications network used primarily for providing electronic communications for the owner’s own use" and "private electronic communications networks used principally for or integrally related to the internal operations of the network owner".
