Newzbin / NZBMatrix alternative recommendations

I appreciate the tips. So what site do you guys use for search? Do the results extend to 1600 days?

But for Series/Movies it just can not compete with the SAB + SB + CP trinity unfortunately.

I'd recommend you give Sickbeard another shot mate, really I do.
You may even be able to pass the NZBs to Newsbin Pro too, if you hate SAB so much.... (if Newsbin Pro supports "Blackhole Directories", that is)

I added the URL as http://newztown.co.za and I also tried their RSS link in there.

I also tried adding the API for the full site in there, but still get the same problem. Can someone help me out here, please?

The site is quite unstable at the moment so those errors are probably to be expected, wait until the site is on the new servers.

Newztown, SANZB, NZBs.in. and there are some free providers for sickbeard and couchpotato, I don't know how long back search goes, not as far as it used to when NZBmatrix was around though
 
Where can I get Sickbeard from? Download link is broken on the website.

I'm sure it'll be fine. I've never come across a well-known movie that I couldn't get on usenet.

So what links specifically an I supposed to put in there?

And do I need to add the API link-thing as well?

Really, I am lost when it comes to these sorts of things...
 
As an example cannot find a working DL link for Rise of the Guardians at all......

Just searched Newsbin Pro for RotG. 20-30 results. I see a few 720p movie rips and video games on a variety of platforms.

There are loads of results but all of them have been removed. I've tried 8 different ones with no luck.

Why not add the IS news server as backup and signup for a free XS Usenet account and also add as backup, I've never ever had a failed download using just my ISP news server and free XS Usenet.
