Hi guys,
I bought my 8" Nextbook from Makro yesterday (since they were going for R1299 again). I only managed to open it up tonight and set it up.
I have a question about the display. I understand from my research on the web, and from the threads about the tablet here on myBB that the screen could be
a whole lot better. I suspect, however, that my display could be even worse than "normal".
It appears that the one side of the screen (the right-hand side in landscape mode, or the bottom side in portrait mode) appears darker than the other side.
It is the only side that suffers from the "negative" effect when tilted (the other sides of the screen don't experience that photo negative colour inversion),
and it has a bit of backlight bleed.
Do any of your Nextbooks have this behaviour with their displays? If so, are there any settings in Windows that can alleviate this?
Does this unit need to go back to Makro with extreme prejudice?
Thanks a million for any feedback!
