Nice article on Android vs iOS / Open vs Closed

I have no idea how to get in contact with my ex-wife.

Lucky you :D

But I was playing with my N7 next to the iPad4, and I regard them as pretty similar, both wrt build quality, and smoothness and performance.

I know that you have gripes about the N7, but I have had two of them, and both have been fine.

I thought I'd give the Nexus 7 to some truly deserving family member but I really have no idea how to get in contact with my ex-wife.

Luckily for you I know her address and will pm it to you ;)

I know he has the iPad 2 so I am pretty sure he knows what he is speaking about.

Some people on here just take this issue way to personally, and don't realize that there are different aspects that attract different people.

Agreed.

I have (had) an HTC Flyer, Asus Transformer and Galaxy Tab 10.1. Since getting the N7 I stopped playing with the others and they have been distributed amongst the family.
iPad3 and 2 got sold. Nice hardware, but then there is iOS. Not even my kids wanted to use them.

No thanks!

I had the iPad2 but gave it to my mother when I got the third gen. My kids have my original iPad and the missus has purloined my mini, though I still get to use it on occasion. :)

I have no doubt that android will improve, and down the road I may even change my opinion of it, but for now it's just not for me. It lacks the fluidity that I've grown to appreciate.
