Nintendo Switch Game Recommendations?

Good morning guys, quick question regarding the Nintendo Vouchers.
I see that you can buy according to Nintendo SA it's R1559 for the bundle of 2 vouchers, but via the link it's an unknown error.
I see that the new Zelda and other games are eligible for purchase using the voucher, when I checked on my switch last night it seems the price they had there it was R1859, though I don't have Nintendo Online subscription, is this the case for everyone else as well?

Still a bargain if you go for Zelda and such.

So just to clarify because I've never really looked into these. But is that essentially saying that buy this now and you can purchase 2 games withing the next 12 months no matter what price they are? So potentially the new Zelda at R1300+ uses one voucher and you can get another title the same price or more or less, within the 12 months?

Do you know if vouchers can be gifted?

Only games in the eligible list

Dont think so, also see no option to gift them on purchase.

100% agree it's still a bargain given how expensive the switch games are in SA.

From my understanding that is correct yes.
As for gifting this is what the FAQ says. Nintento Voucher FAQ

I had a quick look at the GB and GBA games last night. Great additions to the whole back catalogue, so much retro content to keep you busy without buying anything else for a couple of years :p

Ya, its looking good now. They need to add Golden Sun then i'll be happy.

How does everyone feel about the Nintendo Online Expansion? I haven't played any other Zelda besides BotW so even if just for those I would imagine it would be worth it.

Do the games run well? If it was month to month it would be a no brainer but a little hesitant since it's a year or nothing

Yeah the GBA stuff is amazing. Minish Cap is one of my all-time favourites. Kuru Kuru Kururin was a blast, I remember it was one of the launch games. And Mario+Luigi was brilliant, and there's still gonna be Metroid Fusion!!! and Fire Emblem and Golden Sun. I wonder when/if they'll add Advance Wars 1&2.

I've got a family plan so for us it's worth it (my 3 kids all have their own Switches). But the games I've tried run smooth and great, so no worries from that POV.

I'd imagine maybe not with the release on Switch soon and it looks pretty fab, so no worries splashing out for it from my side.

Yeah I'm definitely gonna get those as well. Next few months are gonna be packed. Right now I just want to get through MP1. Hope they get around to remastering the whole trilogy.

I've been tempted by your posts to get an Anbernic but it's just too much content. I've got a decent collection of GB/GBA/SPs etc and games but even they don't get used. It's just nice to see then consolidated onto the Switch and in the one place as everything else I usually play.

True, just that I have Launchbox on my Media PC so its just as easy as switching to it. Anbernic is just so I can have it on the go besides, even with me using it from time to time, the Switch is not really mine.

"Emulation" have been at it a lot longer than Nintendo, and sometime add way more features like proper upscaling, network play and such.

Even if they do, the trailer has way better FX and proper voice overs making it worth it.
Feel the same with Prime and Links awakening. <-- worth buying again.

I am currently doing a replay of The Last of Us Remastered for the PS4 on the PS5. There's just so much to do :p
