Nintendo Switch Game Recommendations?

Looking for a 2 player game for my kids, aged 7 and 10
Or a game all 4 of us can play as a family.

We have mario party which was great for a while, but everyone is bored of that
Just dance worked well, again, everyone bored.

Havent bought anything else, I know absolutely nothing about games or gaming

Have you tried Overcooked? Be warned, family feuds may occur
 
Anyone played the new dooms 2016 / eternal on the switch ? is it worth getting the slayers edition with all the old classics ?
 
I know this is going a little off topic but I've just picked up a switch lite for the fist time and if anyone has a lite specifically, is it normal for the system to feel warm and uncomfortable when playing games? Not dangerously hot but gets pretty toasty and holding the joycon area makes my hands sweaty and uncomfortable.

Mine gets hot when I play your more " graphics enhanced " games, so it's the norm - just make sure it's not hot enough to fry your egg's n bacon on it ! :)

Also check the vents aren't blocked.

Am I suppose to feel hot air coming out the top vents? I was playing hyrule warriors and felt nothing out the top. The switch button even got warm when playing this game lol.

Yes, hot air is expelled from the top vents.

How long do you play when this happens ? Does it happen with all the games ? And do you have the latest updates installed ?

Yeah everything up to date. Can't feel anything coming out the top vents and it gets warm pretty much within a minute while playing anything, even super NES games.

Edit: OK I can feel a very small amount of air coming out the top but can only feel it when I put my lips right up to the plastic, unless this is normal I'm thinking I might have a defective unit.

I know right, sounded just as weird while typing that:ROFL:. I guess I'll look at getting it replaced tomorrow. Thanks for the help:thumbsup:
