Did someone bring it down for you as I see it's 349£. That alone is 7200ish ex shipping and customs. Amazon US is 349$. With shipping and customs will probably be around R7200-R7500.
Takealot had the red and blue (black console) briefly in stock yesterday @R10999, madness.
Will wait it out a bit.
I got it delivered from them but the price changes because they take off the UK tax and then add on import duty and delivery. I think it was 309 GBP when I ordered at the beginning of December so price has gone up if it's now 349. here's the breakdown from my order. I paid with a UK card in pounds and it works out just below R7k if you convert it directly.
The import fee that they take in advance gets it through customs pretty quickly (I even got a couple of pounds refund on a Kindle a few years ago as they took too much). But it is seriously a painless process and it turns up with. I ordered on 2/12 and it was delivered last week so it's sitting under the Christmas tree already.

Just played through Untitled Goose Game with my daughter while I’m sick in bed. It’s hilarious. Highly recommended for a very short delightful experience.

I've been a little hesitant to try it. I picked up Good Job! a while back for that goofball experience and actually got bored of it.
Will maybe look at Untitled Goose Game

Seems like they're using AMD's FSR to upres some new Switch games. It was in Switch Sports and it's now in Splatoon 3. From what I can see in the video previews of S3 it's making a huge difference. Graphics are clean and crisp and the effects like water and goop and reflections are all bumped way up over S2. It's pretty exciting to think new Switch games can use this tech. I really hope it's in BOTW2.

A couple of weeks ago my son found this on Takealot, I was out so I bought it on the app and paid the postage. Never had time to look for other things to make up the free postage so grabbed it thinking it was a mistake.
When I got home I was going to post it here but it was out of stock already so thought nothing more of it, fully expecting a refund anyway. Shippiing time was like 17 days or something.
Then this morning, it shipped for delivery tomorrow. Total R106 including postage and the R5 begging thing
