I doubt that it will be a highway, it's not exactly a busy road to warrant even two lanes in each direction. Just a paved road will do.

On the GFIP, I don't have the details I was just pointing out that the roads are a lot wider and beside the paving there were numerous flyovers and viaducts such as the ones on Allandale and Gilhooleys. Surely that must have cost much more than just normal pavement.

It just raises more questions than answers. But poor work on the journos' behalf who made the claim that no bond could be found. Also poor job on the presidency for not being forthright and transparent.

BTW, expect details of this thread to be on Moneyweb soon...;)

I find it really interesting how the anc government is making use of an old apartheid law to, essentially, use as it was intended back in the day.
