But that is not public works that determines that. It is the minister of safety and security's prerogative.
Oh don't be naive now. Do you honestly believe that MECs are autonomous?

IIRC the freeway planned is a highway, so the number of lanes will depend on the class it is classified as. Secondly, even if there are 5 lanes (not 6 each way iirc), what's 9 X 5?
Yeah, still 1/3 of what we paid for the GFIP project. Seem legit to you?
If a bond existed, it would be easily found through a deeds search. Considering the area is zoned to ERFs, and the presidency confirmed the ERF stand, it would show up as being bonded, which is quite clearly what Mac-attack is stating. Moreover, if Zuma has a bond, it would be searchable on his name as well, especially if it had been registered such a long time ago.
Bottom line is there appears to be no bond whatsoever. There might be in a few days' time when he arranges one behind the scenes, and they'll spin a new story about the deeds office cocking up. One doesn't cock up the president's deed though. And the property belongs to Ingonyama Trust. How can Zuma bond property and land that does not belong to him?
Yeah, that was a bit confusing. Your nick. Are you in a jungle ?![]()
Okay, so the message is crystal clear. The bond is on Nkandla, not a second, third, fourth, or fifth home...
R900k bond according to M&G
http://mg.co.za/article/2012-11-20-nkandla-zuma-does-have-a-bond-for-r900-000
According to the M&G, Mac Maharaj was a highly-paid director of the bank at the time
I cant even buy a 2 bedroomed flat for that let alone a sprawling compou,,, er Crib
Seems that Zumatello has a bond for R900,000
BTW, expect details of this thread to be on Moneyweb soon...![]()
So can someone help and direct us plebs? How do we help in stopping this?
They did try to hide it, why do you think Zuma's compound is suddenly a national key point?
Do I get a cape now ?BTW, expect details of this thread to be on Moneyweb soon...![]()

You'll be trending soon
Already showing up in a couple of google searches.
It just raises more questions than answers. But poor work on the journos' behalf who made the claim that no bond could be found. Also poor job on the presidency for not being forthright and transparent.
