No 3g Signal !!!

Please help . I'm moving to a new house which I have just realised doesnt get any 3g signal. When i look on the 3g coverage map with GPS
co-ordinates there's about 3 blocks which show up as white which means no-signal.confirmed it with my cell phone which wont get 3g. what do i do now?

thats a shame..hmm..judging by similiar threads it doesnt sound as though cape town has brilliant coverage at all, guess its the topography. Could try nagging @ vodacom or consider switching service providers?
 
News Flash: Property prices are now affected based on 3G coverage and Telkom infrustructure.

Had the same issue, although there was a very weak 3G signal (1 bar). High Gain Antenna from Poynting resolved my issues and bumped up the signal significantly - good luck!
 
Thank all for your responses ( including the real estate one) . My location to be is Edenglen, Edenvale.Funny thing is when you look on the vodacom coverage map there are literally 3 whole blocks totally without signal whilst being totally surrounded by full
3g all around them for miles & miles. Kinda like the Bermuda Triangle!! I'm gonna try the MTN option first before doing the Poynting Solution. Of course in my mind all this begs the most obvious of questions being should'nt I be able to call Vodacom , tell them my sad story apon which they would dispatch one of there techie's to bring the lost 3blocks with no coverage back to the 21st centuary? After all if i understand it correctly that entire area fall's right in the middle of there " premo" supa dupa broadband coverage effort. The crown jewels so to speak. How did they miss out 3 entire blocks?

lol, I have the same issue. Sorted out with an external antennae.

I don't even get voice calls in the house.

Please call 082155 explain to them in detail the situation and that you are in a dead spot. The query will them be logged to networks and a representative that works in the Gauteng region will be in contact with you.
