Is there anyone else experiencing difficulties connecting to MTN on the data side of things and does anyone know what is going on with the network that it is down,been down since this morning sometime

There has been a problem with MTN the whole day, we finally got a mail telling us they are experiencing problems, and that the Engineers are attending, usual BS.
 
Using MTN at the moment. Seems to be working fine

Data still down in East London. I called MTN 1555. No estimate on when it will be fixed. No clue as to what the problem is.

Its back up but autopage has said that they are upgrading towers, and this is going to be a problem for the next month :mad:
 
Both mine and my wife's MTN phone (one in P.E, one in Uitenhage) are still not working. It's quite off-pissing.

lol, after a lo000oong silence customer support said cable breakage.....sometimes I think they just tell us stuff to end the call as soon as possible. Then on top of it different support people tell us different things. Trevor Noah should hop on this train - lotsa material to be found!

It's intermittent. But mostly on. This is driving me crazy! EDIT: Where's my Vodacom sim card.
