I have a Vodacom prepaid data problem. My bank statement shows a transaction which is not reflected on my pre-paid data.

The main problem is there is no contact detail other than calling them. The problem is:
- I have no trace or evidence that I contacted them.
- I cannot send them evidence (Copy of transaction on my bank account).
- I cannot send it now (Friday evening) for them to attend to when accounting is at work.

This is a problem with many corporates and a concerning and growing trend. Corporates are increasingly ensuring that you cannot contact them and keep evidence of the discussion. This is to protect them legally since you have to trace off any contact to use as evidence later.

Because they do not want to. They do this deliberately to ensure you have no trace of your communication with them, and therefore no legal recourse later on.

At the moment myVodacom is AGAIN in a total mess. Its impossible to buy data. So bad, I wish I could describe the problem. Tells you the transaction failed before you even entered card details.

They must be the most incompetent software development team in the country. They have been working on myVodacom for years and it just stays a mess, your after year.

@marius.fourie Have you tried to email them to [email protected]. This email will provide you with an (a) Written Record (b) Service Reference (c) A means to send ducumentary proof/evidence etc (d) Proof of complaint in writing, collectively could be used in any future litigation etc. not just "You say I say" Bulldust!!!
Allways works just follow the process - ignore the trolls.

They take a very long time to reply and then give you irrelevant answers. Basically they play you, until you give up. Meantime they steal your money. They don't care about any customer.

Just move to another network then. Venting your frustrations here is not helping anyone.

I cannot on Android. Google blocks recorders.
Not true. I use a call recorder (Huawei app that integrates into to dialer) on my Mate 10 Pro (Android 9). So you can use call recorders.

You're on prepaid. Move to another ISP. No service- no money. Vote with your wallet.

Why does the whole world except you agree that one cannot record on Samsung? Read the hundreds of discussion on how you need root access etc.... I have a Samsung S9+, I have tried every recorder and none works.

Do you actually want help though ? Everytime someone helps you - you stubbornly head in the complete opposite direction.
