No Eskom load shedding until January

The big industries will be closing soon for the December holidays, which should give them breathing space.

I wonder why they haven't built a decent website showing the total available capacity and current demand? Will probably give too much away in terms of their incompetence with all the stations off line.

They do sort of with the power alert (which is almost constantly red).

Eskom are a bunch of f-ing hippies.
Only looking out for our party and relaxation needs.

WBIWISI.

Only idiots will make a promise when they have no control over demand and lack of infrastructure to back it up.

Well there is some sort of a barchart/graph at the bottom of http://www.poweralert.co.za/poweralert5/index.php?location=online that you can check out.

Hmm, blocked at work:

Lol. Will check it tonight. I was thinking they should show all the power stations with their rated capacities and current output. That way we can actually see where the problems are and how long it takes to sort out the issues. If they do declare this mess a national emergency this could help to keep track.

Parties and relaxation for the directors who take home millions of our rands for doing f-all.

As mentioned in other thread:

Power went off at ~13h30 in Pretoria East but no load shedding mentioned on Tshwane website. Idiots in control?:wtf:

Got a brown-out during that time too. Kinda impressed the PC didn't reboot.
