No home button for 2017 iPhone: Report

Apple copy Android phones. Android phones copy Apple. When will anyone come and change things around?

What happens to the finger print reader? Can that be done through the screen?

Yeah, that's what the article says...if they can make the reader look like the rest of the display, that would be pretty neat. "But then how would you know where to put your finger?", he asked naively on a Friday.

I guess you mean the Bloomberg article as it's not in the MyBB one.

Any form of fanboyism is irritating and immature.

Take it from someone who have never owned an iPhone/iPad/iPod etc. I'm a hardcore Android user, running Android 7 on a Nexus 6P.

I am also an Android user. Love it. Owned and Apple iPhone for a few months. Could not get it to do what I wanted. Switched back.

But agree. This fanboy thing gets out of hand sometimes.

This could be really cool if they integrated the taptic engine in as well. Force touch + haptic feedback would make for some very interesting possibilities.

I don't care what they do with the home button. Both options are fine. iOS's biggest issue is the placement of the back button. Having it in the top left corner is a joke.

Double tap the home button (don't press it) and the screen comes down for easier access :p

I would hate my screen to be the fingerprint reader. I hate smudgy fingerprints on my nice clean screen :)
