No home button for 2017 iPhone: Report

I don't care what they do with the home button. Both options are fine. iOS's biggest issue is the placement of the back button. Having it in the top left corner is a joke.

Being able to swipe back from the left side or force touch to multitask obviates that whole problem. I really miss that in Android.

Except very few apps support swiping. And multitasking doesn't help when you're just navigating a single app.

Hmm this is interesting,I can't decide if I'm for or against it,removing it leaves less screen real estate wasted in the front but on the other hand having a physical button thats easy to find without looking makes things quicker in many situations.

Any form of fanboyism is irritating and immature.

Take it from someone who have never owned an iPhone/iPad/iPod etc. I'm a hardcore Android user, running Android 7 on a Nexus 6P.

+1

Indeed it's the furthest possible spot they could've put it for any right handed person which is just ridiculous, becomes extremely tedious on the plus models.

Uhm, just slide your finger on the edge inwards to go back and forth. It's not rocket science

That doesn't work on all apps and when i'm trying to scroll left in web page then it goes back instead!

I can't think of any apps that didn't support swiping, when I had it. Except some that hadn't been updated in like 2 years.

We're still waiting for the 2016 model, right? Why the speculation with the 2017 model?!

International forums were full of speculation about changes being pushed forward to 2017 (iOS X?) because the iPhone 7 will apparently not have a lot of changes.

Maybe this is MyBB going "Me too!" on the Apple topic? :D
