Strange that the OpenWeb email refer to the cable between Marseilles and Paris as 'SEACOM'. Seacom's link to Egypt and then Marseilles cannot come soon enough - they are getting a bad rep due to their providers having cable breaks.

:erm: Where you been? That was completed yesterday if I'm not mistaken.
 
I was down with IS uncapped for a minute. Came up again just now (was on 99% with a file) so I'm very happy :D
 
even local is spotty now. Comes and goes. Could not access local sites either for a few mins there.
 
It took me 4 hrs 13 mins to download a Linux mint distro from the IS ftp servers on an Afrihost account.
There is something really wrong with this scenario.
