Could OP's router have defaulted back to the guest account?
What is OP?
Original Porster
Its an uncapped account with Telkom.
We did re-enter my username and password which was accepted.
do you recall how to put in your isp username and password?
If so try using the Telkom Guest account
username: guest@telkomadsl
Password: guest
then in your browser go to www.telkom.co.za, i just tested it, the guest account works be it very slowly.
With the Telkom username it accesses Telkom.co.za!
i hope we come right..Watching this thread. You guys are amazing.
It required the email address which is the username.
I've never accessed my telkomsa.net mailbox.
It says the password was sent there.
I'm on the line with Telkom again, its on-hold for about 25 min now

If the settings have all been nuked, you have to enter them all again. A password and username won't cut it.

PPPoE 8 35 LLC
Without the above it won't ever connect.
Just follow the South Africa manual. All the instructions are in there for Telkom:
ftp://ftp.d-link.co.za/d-linkftp/pdfs/products/DSL-2750U/DSL-2750U_ds.pdf
the link just goes to a technical specification pdf?
