No internet no help

Rain is so unreliable and they do not help at all, today I had no internet at all and they keep asking the same stupid questions about what lights and restarting the router, this has been happening everyday now and they are quick to deduct their subscription money monthly, with their poor service, may someone please refer me to a reliable internet provider wifi or fibre cause this is bullocks.
 
Sorry to say, but it's rain. Your best bet is to get something else. Many here, myself included, fell into that trap. Not worth the issues and non-existent service delivery. Works great for 3 months, then absolute misery. Have a look at Afrihost or Cool Ideas for fibre.

Rain is horrific; it works if you're in JHB CDB.

 
Dont forget to cancel all your cards and bank account when you cancel the service as they will still charge your account even after you cancel the service. SuperSonic is the same

Yep, I still have a the original R250 4G Sim from back in the day, it was specifically marketed as Month to Month back then, yet they keep invoicing every single month, regardless of if I use it or not

"Month to month" they said, luckily I used a Virtual Card back then

Have you considered one of the Cool Ideas 5G services ? They start at R199pm (also R259, R359 andR559 options) and you can purchase an unlocked router from them for R750.

I have been using one of the Cool Ideas / Vodacom packages since September last year and I have been very happy with it. There are no hidden fees, contracts or debit orders and you can join or leave at any time without any penalties.

I pay for my service every month online using my TymeBank debit card and I could leave at any time although I would not be able to find anything else to replace it with in this price range ! Post again or send me a PM if you want any more information.

I have every right to complain if I'm not happy with a service and your stupid ass thinks they can just threaten me with a double debit, go to school so that you know how to address customers, I work for my money I don't ****en sell cookie, you making me more angry, Rain is not your father's company who probably died with nothing or you don't even know him, watch your mouth.

We work together with Capitec almost like 2 girls 1 cup so we will know your new details. We also have your address and the courier guy who delivered your router is from Diepsloot. He's a very dangerous, man. Google his name from the delivery note, don't bother using your wifi as it will take anything from a day to three weeks to work (when you start behaving).

I don't know what's so difficult to understand because our router looks very good in your house. Admit it. It's a fashion statement.

Let's face it, we never said the router would work ALL the time.

Our routers are revolutionary and in addition to all the latest bells and whistles, it also contains a watchdog which prevents the router from falling asleep. But it, too, occasionally falls asleep. This then requires a user to manually restart the device.

Or wait for loadshedding.

Internally we call this feature the tokoloshe.

We have found that trace amounts of nyaope in the atmosphere causes the tokoloshe to fall into a very deep sleep.

Now, I'm not saying you are smoking nyaope, I'm also not saying you are not smoking nyaope, but someone in your house has to stop smoking nyaope!
