No Man's Sky

Haven't been home enough to even fire up the PS5 yet 😂 Can't believe ps4 players don't have the update yet, that's harsh. Love that new pin planets feature, best news I've heard about this update.

Really hoping the expedition is a bit of a tough one?

The expedition is fun but it's more chilled than the recent ones (at least so far!). I've finished the first two phases.

Anyone playing this in Coop?

Does it just do it out of the box or is it the usual stupid **** like first reaching Level 10 or 100 or some other similar kak?

It's been ages since I played it as a brand new player but I think you should be able to join an expedition (multiplayer event that generally runs for 6 weeks) and play co-op without a problem.

If playing the main game then you probably want to do the first bit to find your ship as it's a bit of a tutorial but I remember joining a friend's game while they were busy with the beginning. It's the type of co-op where you each have your own story to work on but can join up for quick missions from a central point as well. Hoping I've explained it well enough!

Edit: You can explore and build bases together as well. Max group size is 4 people in co-op.

Thanks. A mate and I want to try it in VR and it’s the type of game we would only play together really.
 
The fishing was a pain. I would start, and then the sun would rise, so I would fly to darkness again. Rinse and repeat. I finally caught a Bone Fish, which took an hour.
 
Was quick expedition. I had issues during co-op, multiplayer. Had to start it from scratch again, with multiplayer switched off, took about 3 hours to complete.
