No Man's Sky

yeah some of the x class modules are amazing but it's a process to find them amongst the crap ones. I go to pirate systems and buy suspicious packets, turn the ones I don't need into nanites by selling back to the upgrades dealer, also check what he has. Jump to the next pirate system and repeat. If you can find good x class hazard protection (the ones that are 10 on all 4 stats) and put them on a supercharged slot, they make a huge difference on extreme planets.
Now that's an idea look at the upgrades for the exosuit, I've been focusing on startship and multitool. My damage for the multitool is sitting at 13k I do more damage with it than I do with my minotaur right now :-). Though my shields suck

I haven't been able to properly figure out the multi-tool damage stats. Wish they did it the same way as the weapons on the ships and showed the DPS on each main weapon slot rather than overall damage. I mostly use the pulse spitter and paralysis mortar. Maybe it really does share the damage across all the weapons but that doesn't make sense with them each having different upgrades.

I'm sure it does somewhere, cause I know my pulse spitter is far more powerful. The paralysis mortar is great as well :-)

I managed to increase the reload speed significantly, hardly a delay when reloading and it's such a pleasure. Also hurls what feels like 100 shots at a time  I take on walkers from inside a building with the paralysis mortar ... easy! Although often just shooting their legs until they start collapsing.

Will have a proper look at the multi-tool stats to see if I can figure them out.

I need to change reload speeds somehow aaargh it's slow. I take on walkers with my Apache Attack Interceptor, it goes Brrrrrt and the walker is down.

So you aggro ground sentinels from the ship? Don't the interceptors then get involved? Or maybe you jump into your interceptor mid fight?

Remember it hovers, so keep it close by, hop into it and yeah aggro from the ship. When the interceptors come, land quickly hop out and in type thing. But generally the walker is down before the interceptors are even an issue, then they are just more explosions. The infraknife is nuts

Okay I definitely need that hovering!! It would be SO insane to take on a walker with the infraknife, straight up melting :p

Strangely enough the Exo mechs are harder to actually melt cause they move faster. The Walker is big and lots of health but not as quick. Quads if you catch them also melt quickly, but they hurt when they shoot back.
Just the normal drones aren't easy to hit.

The normal drones are also okay to handle on foot (or hiding inside a building in my case hehe). Adding this ship/walker trick to my growing list of things to try in this game.

Just in a hovering ship, i mean you can do walkers in a normal ship but you gotta do strafe runs

Yeah I attacked some worm nest things in my fighter and it was damn difficult flying in circles and not into the terrain! Also the camera at times puts me below the ship because I prefer third person (ship?) view.

That will do that, for the other crafts I'll use 3rd person. But ship and walking first person, those worms would've been easy with the sentinel

Noice, will start it tonight :) making sure to get my explorer on it as well like I did for the previous one.
yeah am also hoping to start tonight. I remember half doing this expedition so will be good to finish it this time. Definitely going to get my main ship and multi-tool as soon as they allow access to the anomaly!

Though it does seem it starts with a solar ship :-) so will see, might take the sentinel instead :-). Just need to slap on some better hyperdrives.

Not sure which ship will be best, hovering might be useful. Perhaps just bring the one with the best weapons, that's my usual strategy  I may try to grab a few upgrades to bring with me but won't be able to access them until the Anomaly is available. It looks like a fairly chilled expedition when comparing to the cursed one.

It is the one with the best weapons :) the butter knife ;-)
As long as I don't need to wait an entire day for my fleet to come back :-)
