No Netflix rand support planned

There is diffirence in content. My US account, without Geo location circumvention, loads the SA version/content of Netflix now when logging in.
But that's regional content differences, not account content differences.

Netflix without region switching is like..... showmax

If you really want it all get something unotelly, when your are bound to one region you might as well go showmax at this point

Sorry, and to add to it, with sites like http://www.filmefy.com/ it really makes it easy to see what you want. Like I've noticed Switzerland is a good region for all the B movies I like so much :)

If they don't support local currency, it likely means they won't release gift cards locally either, which will cut-off some of the local market. Not everyone has, or wants, to use their credit card online (or wants an auto-renewing sub). Will be interesting to see if they stick with it.

It's 2016 people use credit cards online. Credit cards have built in insurance for a reason. I have never heard of anyone not being compensated in the event of fraud.

If you are paranoid VCPay might work.

Cheque cards don't have the same "insurances" built in, and they're issued just as frequently. And it's not just getting your money back, it's the hassle of having to get a new card, sending in claims, and everything else that goes along with that. VCPay is an option, but I'd prefer to buy my subscriptions directly and up front instead of having them on auto-renewal. But this argument could go on forever; the point is that there's a market for people who want to buy prepaid subscriptions and/or gift them (which is huge in the US), and Netflix are missing a beat by potentially not introducing them (seems highly unlikely if it stays USD based).

They are not missing out on much. There is no schlep on claiming for non delivery via visa or MasterCard. Why would you need a new credit card? Shew, I agree with the post above yours. It's 2016 not 1998

Anybody really surprised?

I find it really funny that people are making such a fuss about the lack of titles, we knew that when Netflix comes to SA they will have to oblige to SA copyright and publishing rules. The same as in every other country they operate in.

They trying to justify a reason to complain...

What's the difference between the SA content and US content?

Netflix US has 5659 titles as of today compare to 677 in SA. You can look at the comparison chart here: https://www.filmefy.com/stats

You can click on the bar graph which will take you the to actual Netflix content library of the country you clicked on.

The cool is that Netflix's global catalog has 14154 titles which is almost triple of just having US Netflix alone...
