No PC to PC connection on local LAN

Hi Everyone

I really hope someone out there can assist with the problem I am having. It seems that I cannot connect from one device to another on my Wi-Fi LAN. They can all connect to the internet via the router, but I cannot ping the ip addresses of any devices except the router. From the router however I can ping all the connected devices.

I have already disabled firewalls on the windows pc's

The router is a Telkom flavoured Netgear Model DG834GUv5 with Firmware ver. TKV6.00.26

What I also find strange is that it does not list anything under connected devices. Don't know if this is of any worth.

Make sure that wireless isolation is disabled on the router. That's likely the cause.

Have you enabled filesharing on the PCs?

Not required to ping the machines. It's definitely wireless isolation.
