Interview goes well, test goes well, but no call back or email after interview, should I be worried? Perhaps i did bad? Or maybe someone was better? A rejection mail would atleast calm my nerves :erm: (if I'm rejected) but nix! The waiting is the worst part... I really wanted that job, I know, no one can help, I'm just releasing my stress, sorry admins

Are you going to tell us how long it's been .

How long since the interview? I've found 2 weeks to be around the point where I consider "no news to be bad news".

I've never received a rejection letter before, but then again, I'm a winner.

Don't count on a rejection letter being sent. If you don't hear back from them after a couple of days assume you were unsuccessful. It happens.

I'd give it another week before getting too worried.

There's also nothing stopping you following up if you feel like it.

I've been rejected so many times, was just trying for the sake of trying and to my suprise I got the call to the interview but now the wait... Most dreadful part

What are you interviewing for (which industry)?

I wouldn't follow up. If they don't reply you are usually out of luck or they just couldn't be bothered in which case they're *******s and you don't want to work for them anyway :p

One week is a little bit premature.

Think about it. It's not like they are going to do interviews all day every day. They probably schedule one a day, maybe two.

So that would be an easy two weeks before they even near a decision making process.

we usually let candidates know the next day... 1-2 weeks it to long of a limbo for us and for them..

Really annoys me about companies, you have to take time out of your day to go to their offices for multiple interviews, and they don't even have the decency to give feedback.

Went around 3 weeks ago for the final interview, haven't heard back and won't be following up.

I would suggest only following up if you really want the job.

Well, since one of those days was a public holiday, maybe add a few more days. Irritating, I know.

PS: we holding thumbs for you, good luck.

There's nothing wrong with following up. Don't feel as if it makes you seem desperate. You have a number of opportunities, and you would just like to find out where you stand on this particular one before making a decision on the others...
