Hi

I sent a PM to VodacomData yesterday already, with regards to a problem I have with my brand new 2G+2G package. Still waiting for a reply...

How long does he normally take to reply? Is he maybe on leave?
 
He hasn't answered another thread either posted two days ago. I guess he is on stress leave. :D

Hi Sorry , i have other responsibilties as well and try my best to juggle everything.i have replied after receiving feedback.
 
whilst I was initially very impressed with his helpful attitude, he just ignored my pm's days later :(

thanks for the reply, most would just ignore bad remarks in public threads :p

I know it has been sometime but if you could please make an enquiry on the matter and let me know via pm if there is anything that can be done or not :)

I wish congratulate and complement VD for his excellent service to this forum.:)

Just wondering if any forum member has tried solving their problems by other means first before posting on this thread?:D

Plse forgive this PM, but I am wondering if you could offer a comment here ..
Later this month I am retiring to Swellendam, WC. I currently use pre-paid VC data (i.e. a pre-paid Voda SIM) in a 3.6mbps Vodafone modem I bought outright from Game Stores. Can you comment on the capability of VC towers in Swellendam, and what kind of DL / UL speeds I can expect?

Have you checked the coverage maps?

Yes I have ... the first thing I checked, and it shows I am on the edge of Voda '3g' coverage.
I was hoping (in vain??) to get more info on the status of the towers, e.g. are they enabled for 'x' Mbps.
I have a 3.6mbps dongle now, and I would like to know if it is worth buying a 7.6, or a 21, or even a 42 mbps dongle / modem.
I would have thought this was a simple question

Thank you VD .. and please forgive my impatience ... I've sent you a PM explaning why I was concerned about the lack of response. I look forward to any input you can give me as I will be in Swellendam from this coming Sunday.
