No Service? Ipad2

Hi There
Please help if you can.
I just bought a microsim/simswapped from my 600meg account, when i put into my ipad2 i get a no service message, even though i entered the password of sim?
are there any settings that i have to put into the ipad2??

Make sure your APN is set to internet.
I think it is under settings, cellular data somewhere.
 
Also check if your sim is activated, don't trust these mobile call centers. Stick your sim into a phone to check.

You know that it takes about 2 hours for a new simcard to be activated? I just got a new sim as well and have the no service message. Have you rebooted your iPad already? I see you posted about an hour ago so it might work already.
 
Hello,

I just unlocked my iPad and it made a great difference for me. There is so much more you can do with it. Have you heard of that? You have to find out from the proper sources. but only the proper authorities will have the actual facts and that is what you need to make the decision. I just unlocked my iPad and it made a great difference for me.
