No Sound

My sound isnt working. Ive tried with headphones and speakers. All i hear is a tick sound if there's suppose to be a sound. It work fine just a couple of hours ago. Help

Try rolling-back your audio driver. I commonly make a mistake when updating other people's machines of accidentally installing the latest audio drivers from Microsoft Update (which I find almost always ends up in no sound at all)

A lot more info required here. Make of sound card; driver version installed; windows volume not on mute; driver manufacturer utility (realtek etc) not on mute; physical damage on card (inflated capacitors, burn marks, etc).
