Could you imagine the cost of hosting that locally? Who knows how many decades it will take before SA comes in line with international hosting prices.

The ISPs will probably pay them to host them locally if it means significant saving on international bandwidth usage...

A whole data center just for Google? I seriously doubt that. Maybe one or two server racks at the most to host only the apps that are required to be in S.A
