I did, nearly every single site I look at for reviews had the Noctua coming out top with the Silver Arrow even beating out the Archon.
Very funny when a new heatsink is tested against its predecessors and is beaten so convincingly.

Anyways, I got my Spire Eclipse II at a darn good price, next is a Prolimatech Megahalem brand new and at R450 damn good bang for buck ^_^
Op has defiantly made the best choice for a cool, just still needs some luck finding a place to buy it thats not online :/
Omg, durp, that's single fan guy.. In the same review you quote they show it coming second when using the same fan (1x) across all the heatsinks. Nice confirmation bias there buddy..
Read this review: i7-920 @4GHz

..along with the review at Xbitlabs: i7-980X @4.4GHz

..still, as I said the NH-D14 has increased surface area so it may even hold up better at extreme overclocks.
NH-D14 with 3x Thermalright TY-14's (tested best 14cm fan) = Win! (so agreed on the NH-D14 being a great purchase!, ..but wait what was that about your Spire being top dog a few posts ago..dawg?)
