It is the Blue one om MTN. OTA doesnt pick up a update and NSU doesn't want to install the newest software update for the PC. Some Windows problem or something.

Its not available for any of the MENA product codes as of yet

I am really thinking of using JBF/JAF (whatever its called)
 
I have an unspoken policy with my phone. I won't hack it, no matter what the advantage. I've got my own dev certificate and sign when I want to play. Loving Joikuspot Premium :D
 
What version of Garmin? My copy is working fine. v5.00.50 - haven't upgraded to .60 yet.

AFAIK 5.00.50 is the latest - or do you have a link to 5.00.60:confused:

The official SA agents only recommend using version 5.00.40 on the 5800. I had it working on a higher version but it eventually also failed. Uninstall and reinstall using the recommended version.

EDIT: Oh yes, it still randomly crashes but seems to do that in landscape mode.

tera, I'm not sure what your post has to do with changing the product code to update the firmware? You can't exactly sign an app to give you the speed benefits of the new update? :confused:

I think his point was that he wouldn't change the product code (aka hack).

Yep, hehe :p

Also, there's quite a few ROM hacks online that allow you to run apps on your phone without signing etc.

My warranty is part of my decision, but the other thing is I don't want a "broken" phone, if I can say it that bluntly :D
 
can somone PM me their product code if they are on v30-v31.Im changing mine(v.21) so i can get the update..... Thanks
 
well i'm pissed off, got a 5800 for the girlfriend and the tv-out function does not work, little label on the box saying these ones do not support tv out

Where did you get that one?

It seems it could only be a software block as the hardware is there.
 
Hmm. I tried mine the other day, and I only had black and white. Anyone with a MTN handset used this function without any issues??

Yep.

I've got a Blue 5800 on MTN and it works perfectly. I've even watched a movie from my phone on my television ;)
